Unfortunately, having paperwork in order does not protect you from ICE. They do not care about the law and will abduct you as you are walking into/out of any immigration hearings. They routinely ignore judge’s orders to release people and have no accountability for any harm or damage they cause. Sure, you might get yourself out in a week or two IF you have a good lawyer, but not before they do whatever they want to you in the meantime

What is your purpose here? All you’ve done is argue with people who warn you to not come to the USA. You’ve been told several times that it is not only dangerous to foreigners, but also to actual natural born citizens, the schools are currently fighting against an anti-intellectualism take over, banning subjects and books that don’t align with Christian beliefs and arresting students that say killing people is wrong. ICE is patrolling airports (where you would come into the country) and arresting anyone who is just a little too dark or just that they feel like arresting. It is not only unsafe for you to come here, it is a bad idea to come here for the academia as well. All of this you have been ignoring and downplaying and arguing with. If you’re so sure it’s a good idea, then sure, come to the States and pray you don’t get blackbagged and never seen again. It feels like you’re not here to get honest opinions, but just to argue and ignore anything you don’t like
