@StormyTheKirin@bark.lgbt one thing I've noticed is how rude people can be about wheelchair users in the den, ugh. Cons here I've seen a few let disabled folk in to events first and also gave quiet hours great for low stimulation. I like that. My only issue I've ever had struggles with was the dances always being heavy on the flashing lights - it'd be really nice to have a sorts of low stimulation set there, just even a short one, as well because as much as I love a dance, flashing lights can be a big no go. I have seen people complain about how it was "pointless" for the local con to incorporate new busses that go back and forth the second hotel, even calling it laziness. A good majority of folk were very positive though and understood it would be great for disabled folk. I was very sad that most of my local small meets took place in venues that weren't wheelchair accessible, and having a good friend in a chair she just felt totally left out of the local scene because of that.
