was super dusty. at first it didn't want to read discs and had trouble with opening its tray. opened the unit up and discovered there was a DVD (or Video CD? idk) of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer stuck beneath the tray (probably from some kid incorrectly sticking it into the unit...) got it out tho and everything's working great

used CD player from goodwill (the one in the JVC system below doesn't function... and im tired with my discman acting up ..) it's a sony!
absurdly fast read times. headphone jack gives a pleasant sound. priced at 20 bucks but only paid 10 thanks to tag sale
