The butterfly heart quilt is finished! I fucked up the quilting, it's wobbly, and I hate making continuous binding SO MUCH. But I think the recipient will like it, and that's all that matters.

Quilt top done, sandwich made on kitchen floor as it wouldn't fit on the table, and the pins get stuck in the carpet 😅 I've ordered some cream thread to quilt it with, going with a simple diagonal pattern I think.

Got all my blocks sewn together today! There's 33 here, going to finish sewing the top tomorrow. Then the sandwich and binding - might be a bit ambitious to do all in one day, but we'll see!
I'm going to spend the whole weekend working on my quilt and I'm so excited. Rock and roll, eh

@eclectech yes!! Shades of Grey was so WEIRD, and I started reading it thinking it was just quirky fluff but then as more of the past gets hinted at, it draws you right in. I have the sequel on my to-read list too, hope you enjoy it!
