@stevelieber@mastodon.social I’m not American, but to me the Democrats do seem the more dishonest party. They act like they’re compassionate, but in practice they take care of destroying anything that would threaten the status quo of billionaires, high inequality, and global US military imperialism.

The ALP were once 'the party of the people' but their neoliberal drift has left them with only one policy - stay large and maintain a two-party state at all costs, so they get voted in every now and then as 'the alternative' to the Coalition and its pure evil.
Of course it's backfiring. Alternatives are appearing, and the nazis and other conservatives are tearing each other apart in their mutual greed and insanity.
