Every 11th of November kids go around the neighborhood with their lanterns to sing and collect candy. This year I'm fighting fire with fire. Every kid, and a dad or two, was allowed to pull the trigger. Never ran through the candy quite this fast!

STOP with what you are doing! I just made an _important_ scientific breakthrough.That bag of crisps that is still good but got soggy? Do not throw it away, but toss it in the oven for a couple of minutes. It will be as good as new. Or better than new! Warm+salty+fatty > cold+salty+fatty.

Dear Ethernet nerds, Last Sunday our Unify router went belly up at 04:00:00 exactly (no logs indicating something weird). But at the same time my 2 servers where unreachable and complaining about failing DNS resolution. Is it thinkable the Router was in such a deplorable state that it kept the (costumer grade) Switch busy?

For my 'agentic AI' loving colleagues (shivers), in preperation for April fools, I will sneak a .CLAUDE.md in to the git repository. I think I will instruct it to, anytime it asks permission, add the phrase "What would @yschaeff do?"

You where all thinking it. And the answer is 'yes!'. Yes you can totally LASER engrave a banana to exfiltrate data from your secured premises. Just out of the machine the text is barely noticable. But the next morning? Clear as day.
