  I have now installed #FreeBSD on -- a Dell Latitude 5320 -- a T430 -- a Poweredge R540 and it's remarkably easy. I've got Wayland and LibreOfficeworking cheerfully on the laptops. The server took a little more fiddling because of its own weird hardware issues, but I'm setting up jails for all sorts of things. Refreshingly easy. I really missed BSD. Glad to be back.   Every now and then I have one of those days where I discover all of these marvellous people on the Fedi and they're nearby (in some sense, whether physical or by interests) and they've been here for a couple of years and I don't know them. It's delightful! It's way more delightful than when there were only a few thousand people! I do feel sad when I look at all the amazing folks who were here but left. I hope they all come back.

  University of Montreal resesrch into shared stress between couples found that "lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and nonbinary couples" (SGD) supported each other better through stress than cishet couples - they "recover more efficiently from acute stress and display more engaged and coordinated support behaviors".
