Sure, I learned to code because I love cajoling a computer into doing what I ask it to. It's empowering. I think it also helped me learn to communicate better.Really, though, my favorite part of learning to code was helping my classmates learn to code. Good morning / afternoon / evening! I am at the #Endorsement #meeting for our local #lgbtq+ #caucus. Right now, a mile-long line of #candidates are getting 30 seconds to speak. We started at the top of the hour. I served on the #screening #committee. The committee screened over 100 candidates. When the proceedings open, the first motion will be to close credentialing. The second will be to accept the #recommendations of our committee.

I got the #Tarot for You and Me a while back, as an impulse purchase. Today, I looked at it. The major arcana is very #femme-forward. The suits are lanterns, chalices, flags, and plants. The court consists of the Child, Sibling, the Queen, and the Elder. As a #transgender #man, I do not see myself in this deck. I'm sure it's amazing for #trans #women / #transfem, #enby, and maybe #agender and other #queer folks. I'll be handing it to a friend who takes #consignments.

How that part of the border has the fewest crossings due to the natural landscape, and that surveilling works, while building structural barriers will destroy the ecosystems that tourists come to visit. Etc. This isn't good, but it's maybe less bad.
