  Looking forward to seeing how the Supreme Court contorts itself around long-established precedence and the constitution to give this administration a win in limiting mail in ballots.   Wow. Burger King discontinued the impossible whopper. They were the last national burger chain with a vegetarian-friendly option, and were the ones which led the way. In 2019 @jillianmarisa@rosafamily.social and I flew across MO to STL where they were trialing it in the early days. I just deleted my account. That was the only reason we went every now and then.   I need to return a package at my own expense (long story) so I found parcelmonkey to rate shop. I was ready to buy, but they wanted me to create an account so they could give my data to Meta who I've long since broken up with. Hard pass for me. GTFO with that BS. I used Paypal and saved a buck.

  I don’t want to consume #AIshit but imagine I unwillingly already am. I have to use it at work. Nothing is black or white and I’m closer on the spectrum to anti-AI than I am to slopper. All that said, using an AI tool to assist with human code review seems pretty OK to me. Look at all of the vulnerabilities Mythos has discovered, and to some extent helped to remediate.   For months I've had issues with my AudioEngine speakers developing a hum. I've swapped cables, reconnected a million times, ditched the motherboard audio jack for a new external DAC, upgraded from 3.5 MM aux to RCA, even changed the main guts in the powered speaker. Nothing corrected the issue. I just remembered that my "office" is split between two AC outlets: One is grounded (newer) where the powered speakers are plugged in, and the other isn't (original to the house) w...
