  @meredithw @qqmrichter @WhoTheFIsAP@mastodon.online you’re an extreme example. 99% of people aren’t gonna ask someone if they drink or not and stop there without asking why. How about we let the person decide what is private and what isn’t rather than assuming they don’t want people to know. There’s a lot of traditions that involve drinking and it is important to know if someone has completely quit or just isn’t drinking temporarily. Maybe the person asking questions is looking for help to quit drinking also. Maybe they are interested in dating them. I don’t care if people know I’m in recovery but I would never want to be mistaken for a religious extremist. This is like when people say to never ask a girl out at work. Let the person speak 4...

  The only reason drugs are still illegal is bc there’s nowhere near enough of them to ever come close to the demand from when they are either legalized or people think the end of the world is close. It’s gonna make the 1980’s in Miami look like Utah when people think they have < 5 yrs to live

  @Waterloo2 @DemocracyMattersALot they actually voted for Obama the 1st term and now they are allowing the local sheriff’s department to dress their horses up in Klan outfits. Dems ignored this state and now the gop is dominating, cheating, gerrymandering, and corruptly changing everything. Amazing how much it changed

  @mcnado and cops know they are immune from consequences 99% of the time. It’s their job to get the suspects under control and in handcuffs. I don’t understand why they feel the need to punch people in the face to get them under control or why our courts allowed that brutality at all. They are trained to wrestle & restrain someone on the ground. There’s zero need to punch anyone in the face.
