@meredithw @qqmrichter @WhoTheFIsAP@mastodon.online you’re an extreme example. 99% of people aren’t gonna ask someone if they drink or not and stop there without asking why. How about we let the person decide what is private and what isn’t rather than assuming they don’t want people to know. There’s a lot of traditions that involve drinking and it is important to know if someone has completely quit or just isn’t drinking temporarily. Otherwise I’m gonna waste $ or hurt someone’s feelings not including them
