@meredithw @qqmrichter @WhoTheFIsAP@mastodon.online there’s absolutely nothing wrong with asking someone a question on why they are behaving in a way that is different than the norm. The person being asked the question will then decide what they are comfortable sharing and what is none of your business. But if I’m a person who is going to be in your life and am trying to plan an event that you’ll be at, I might have a legitimate need to know if you don’t drink so I can make accommodations for you.
