Highlights from last night's dreams: 1. I lived in a parallel universe where "elementary" was spelled "elementery". (It was distressing.) 2. A cop caught me jaywalking and made me do a drunk test, except the test was to have multiple assailants attack me and see if I could use aikido on them. (Success!)

Hey. Were you ever told that you're "too much"? I want you to know that they were wrong. You're perfect. You're the perfect amount. I love the amount that you are. ๐ฉท I love it when you take up space with your joy & authenticity & your honest feelings -- even the tough ones. :boost_ok:

Can anyone recommend a ZIM archive (e.g. offline copy of Wikipedia) reader? Kiwix just plain doesn't work properly on my machine consistently, and it's very slow. Graphical or TUI are ok! :boost_ok: Thank you!

I've been learning more about other neurologies lately, such as Tourette syndrome (TS). It's been cool & interesting & humanizing! Please enjoy this video about a 13-year-old, Penny. I love the supports she has in her life!!! ๐ฅฐ It gives me hope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aVk5YXLt-8

Hey Fediverse, have any of you had an MRI done? Any notes that'd make my experience tomorrow any easier? Especially interested in hearing from our #autism contingent.

Who made the world? Who made the swan, and the black bear? Who made the grasshopper? This grasshopper, I mean โ the one who has flung herself out of the grass, the one who is eating sugar out of my hand, who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down โ who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes. Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face. Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away. I don't know exactly what a prayer is. I do know how...

Executive function is so hard. ๐ญ I'm slowwwly starting to figure out systems that work for my brain, but it is very gradual. A big thing that helps me seems to be "resetting" spaces, like my kitchen or bathroom, to a well-defined "good" state. I can walk in, see what's not right, and address it. It's kind of like the feeling you get when you have a git repo and there are no untracked files, no unstaged or staged files, and everything...

Happy Saturday. Today I am grateful for: - Fortified soy milk & nutritional yeast, ๐, giving me lots of my nutrients. - Carrots & hummus. - Oatmeal, loaded with seeds & dried fruit & peanut butter. - Those precious few moments when I'm able to give myself permission to slow down, and just let myself be. What are you feeling grateful for today?
