Executive function is so hard. ๐Ÿ˜ญ I'm slowwwly starting to figure out systems that work for my brain, but it is very gradual. A big thing that helps me seems to be "resetting" spaces, like my kitchen or bathroom, to a well-defined "good" state. I can walk in, see what's not right, and address it. It's kind of like the feeling you get when you have a git repo and there are no untracked files, no unstaged or staged files, and everything has been pushed. A big growth edge has been figuring out how to do this for my digital spaces. Right now it's just a big mess of browser tabs, multiple workspaces, terminals, and vim sessions all over the place. ๐Ÿ˜ต

@tty Oh God, the browser tabs ๐Ÿ’€ (This is why I decided to use bookmark folders. Takes ages to set up but it's totally worth it) Anyway good luck with organizing your virtual space!

@tty I feel ya. I too need these reset pathways, for me they are literal paths, there are a couple walks in town that do it for me. Sitting with a book or audiobook for a while also helps. My digital space feels better when I use RSS, SSB, and other real social tech instead of just grunt working and social networks.
