  RE: https://mastodon.social/@DXRandoActivity/116127063198601086 It's still kind of crazy to me that something I've been working on for over 5 years now has regular daily players (and these are just the ones who turn on "Online Features"!) Also insane to me that there are some people who either downloaded or never updated a version of the mod that is 3.5 years old, when there have been so many updates in-between.

  I didn't used to really be bugged by wet mouth sounds until someone moved a few cubes over from where I sit at work and apparently is eating something all fucking day long with their fucking mouth open or something Also fuck being in the office

  @stephanie I went to CES two (?) years ago and one of the big things Google was pushing there was that they were adding Gemini support to their messaging app so you could have AI write your texts. I *still* don't understand how that was considered such a big thing - do people really have such a hard time writing a damn TEXT MESSAGE? The sheer laziness and brain drain that AI is enabling is exhausting to experience in real time.

  I had wondered why one of my air quality sensors wasn't reporting back for the last couple of days... Turns out I unplugged it by accident when I was cleaning behind the cabinet next to it. Whoops! I had put off looking into it because I assumed it was something more annoying.

  A minorly interesting package tracking email. I find it interesting that the subject line is purely in French, with no English there at all. French first in the body as well, but followed by the English text as well. To be clear, I'm not saying this is a problem or anything!   Darn, if only there was some place I could work where I didn't have to listen to several ongoing conversations, sniffling noses, burps, many simultaneously typing keyboards... Can't think of any place that might be possible. Certainly didn't work in one for several years recently.

  I watched all of Walker, Texas Ranger (for whatever reason), but this depiction of Chuck Norris from "The Ultimate Showdown" is still the one that pops into my head any time I hear his name. #ChuckNorris
