  Top tip for anyone considering a #heatpump with underfloor heating: make sure your HP supports cooling mode. We've just arrived home from a weekend away and the house, or downstairs at least, is blissfully cool while it's 32° outside. If you already have underfloor heating, check the manual as it might be supported. Our installer had no idea it was a thing, but all it took was a settings toggle and the addition of an automatic valve to isolate the upstairs radiators when it kick...

  Dear #RoyalMail; I've been watching my doorbell feed like a hawk all day waiting to offer an ice cold drink to your delivery person, but instead I've got an email saying "We TRieD tO dELiVeR yOuR pArCeL BuT tHeRe DiD'nT sEeM tO bE aNyOnE iN". I get it, it's hot, you're probably short staffed, and deliveries are going to get delayed, but have you considered owning the situation rather than blaming the customer? Not cool, dude. Not cool.

  So this #ArtemisII thing; is it cool to get excited about it? Cos I'll feel really dirty if it's just a big publicity stunt from the orange one.

  I'm really quite buoyed by the fact that, on my half-mile walk to my kid's school, there are a fair few political posters in windows and signs in gardens, and every single one of them says #VoteGreen. Not a single poster for Labour, Tories, or even Trump-lite. Fingers crossed it translates to results! #GreenParty

  What is going on with the #weather today? All of the forecast sites are insisting that it's clear, sunny skies for the entire day, yet out of the window it's been nothing but blanket cloud. You'd think the forecast would've updated to be a little more accurate by now, but no.

  Woke up fully expecting the worst because I'm a pessimist and ,well, *gestures broadly* but I'm very happy to be proved wrong! Well done #GortonAndDenton and the #GreenParty. Now to prove to the rest of the country that hope is real and change doesn't need to be divisive. Proud of you.

  @mike@thecanadian.social being stuck in a timezone where 90% of NHL games are at an ungodly hour in the morning, it was nice to be able to watch live for a change. But yes, I agree with your other points.
