I want to post more here, but honestly, I don&#39;t feel like I have or have done anything that&#39;s post-worthy lately. Mostly just hanging in there, getting work done, and trying to come up with ideas on things to do or build that might be post-worthy... I know I can just post random crap, or just stop by and ask how folks are, but this feels pointless, In a sense? Maybe if I ask anyway, I can normalize it for my brain... So on that note; hi! How are my fedi friends doing?

Okay, I have this food theory, and maybe the creatures of fedi can help me out. Theory: gluten-free bread makes better grilled cheese. Reasoning: the lack of gluten means the bread retains less moisture, and therefore it becomes crispier on the outside when grilled, but stays soft on the inside. With celiac, I can’t make a real comparison, but maybe someone else out there can (or can share some anecdotal evidence one way or another!)

Imagine if Rowling hadn’t been so publicly shitty. What if Joanne quietly enacted her evil in the background and most didn’t know their beloved childhood wizard book was so harmful. Would you try to explain to people how bad it was, and ruin something that brings people so much joy? Let them forever associate you with overturning their favourite fantasy? How much would people hate me if I revealed the bad side of something cherished so deeply? Am I selfish for not wanting to be that person?

Apparently "iranian hackers" are "breaching" gas station storage tank monitoring systems and changing reported fuel levels. The quotes are because these systems were apparently just sitting there online without a password. This is not "hacking". This is propping your front door wide open and wondering how animals got in when you come to check 6 months later.
