  So I was a bit bad and indulged in a couple of Uber Eats meals this long weekend. But it felt good to just be chill and relax. This week should actually be OK. One week at a time is kind of where I'm at for now, so I'll take the peace and good times while I can in case they go away for awhile

  Oof! Why is it when you lose someone special you seem to come across every series, song or story that you and that person could have shared together? I swear I've seen like three books and series that we would have so enjoyed together. Would love to see more of this when person is actually alive, not all these damn "this would have been cool to do stuff" after they've passed. Anyway back to your normal evening

  Well a bullet at work has been dodged, at least for now. It was so nice to finally have a night where things felt like they'd be OK. It was nice to know I'm going to have at least another week of peace. It was nice to have the phone on do not disturb just to enjoy a nice meal and some entertainment without a bunch of stress.   People really need to think sometimes. Work with me here. If Joe is only able to work email cases and closes 15 cases in a day, and Susan is able to work both email and phone calls, which generally go quicker than emails do, and is closing 35 cases, you can't use Susan's higher number to suggest Joe isn't working hard enough when Joe isn't set up to use the phones yet, thus meaning he won't be able to reach the higher number yet as there are more calls t...

  I think one of the strengths of the Harry Potter books, considering how long they get as you go on, is that the author doesn't provide meaningless information about the characters. Every backstory, every incident for the most part, all have a place, even if you don't know it until the next book. There's nothing worse then reading 100 pages of back story that ends up not mattering where the plot goes at all.
