  The public could've known where the #cyclospora tainted lettuce was sent within 24 hours under a new law. It was supposed to go into effect Jan 20, 2026. But the FDA proposed pushing it to July 2028 & Congress agreed. Had it been operating, the 27 state distribution list & the real names of outlets selling & serving the lettuce would've been in FDA’s hands in a day — in May.
