I have a relative who doesn't believe in human caused climate change. He now works to block solar being installed in rural states.
He says that it's unreliable. He doesn't like that the government subsidizes solar & wind.
His views got a fossil company to notice him & hire him to block solar installations. So it's working out great for him, financially. And, since his views are shared by the President of the US, he can point to that too.
Since I'm broke environmentalist, he's the winner.

@spocko@mastodon.online Why do you fucking care if people install solar? Enough to block them? And how is it unreliable? I used to argue with climate change deniers and the "logic" is crazy. Hope you laugh uprouriosly at them every family function.
