with US states mandating developers to sell user data is flawed fundamentally. Its the equivalent of asking #tor to give their userbase data (IP address, log files, etc...) When they don&#39;t have it, and as such (hypothetically speaking) the US resorts to putting a 1 billion dollar defense budget to build multiple entrance and exit relays to trace user IP It will cost more money to put in, than what is effectively getting out.

@jackryder @nixCraft Yea it was after a certain point (when i started caring about my privacy) that some of the reddit communities just didn&#39;t make sense being on the platform. r/privacy is one such community, you put all this information out there of the spyware and cookies big tech is using to create a profile of you, but you put it on the platform known for selling your data. When I commented in that community I felt like the biggest hypocrite on there.

Welp, I don&#39;t know how I&#39;ve let myself go this far, but I guess I&#39;m every stereotypical engineering student, eg: up at 2 am working on a problem. Reminds me of the meme comparing the people who learn engineering by pop science vs engineering maiors. 😂

As much as I hate generative AI I do love for one thing: finding really hidden fuck ups in my code. For example, I&#39;ve made an optimized function to make my robot move in a straight line, and for some reason my right motor was moving faster than the left despite my quadrature reading on left being much less than that on the right. #genai #embeddedsystems #C

With trump declaring war on Iran a couple weeks back, my #tor snowflake has been flooded with people anonymizing their identity. Currently I&#39;ve received 21 people accessing my relay in the past 2 hours. For scale, I&#39;ve kept snowflake on for days before the war and have gotten about 9 or 10 people using snowflake. Anyone who may have a burner phone/laptop install orbot or the snowflake Firefox extension to let people circumvent the internet. Let&#39;s keep the internet a...
