    I am still thinking about a post I read elsewhere about how people don&#39;t want the personal changes involved in climate action. And how frustrating it is to see these changes always configured as &#39;sacrifices&#39; rather than as an opportunity to live better and more joyful lives.     I booked in my Tern cargo bike to get a service because it keeps making sad &quot;service due&quot; messages at me, and the bike shop were able to do it immediately. On the one hand, that is very cool and useful. On the other hand, it makes me worry for their future because every other bike shop I&#39;ve been to has been booked up for weeks. #BikeTooter

    Today my class (at university) were talking about centralisation of power in the digital economy. 1. Many students don&#39;t know what a browser is, or how to find out which search engine they use. 2. Most students can work out which operating system they have. 3. One student told me that I &quot;seem like the sort&quot; when I said I use linux.

    My four-year-old and I stopped to check on someone who was getting arrested today. She had made it clear that she did want help, and I checked on with my kid as well before approaching. The police officer tried to tell me off. &quot;Do you think this is the kind of thing you want your kid to see? Do you think this is good parenting?&quot; Yeah, actually!     #3GoodThings 1. A win for the lovely Greens candidate in Gorton and Denton gives me hope for a politics of care and solidarity rather than fear! 2. I had a lovely lunch with my Yiayia, sitting outside and looking at the trees for a while. She seems to be doign better. 3. I rode my Urban Arrow this morning because I was taking three kids in, instead of the usual two...and it reminded me what a beautiful bike it is.
