  So a little nut to crack for my #linux bubble: I am running #mintlinux on my external Thunderbolt SSD on the 2013 iMac. Problem is: When I suspend and then resume, the TB SSD does NOT wake up. System hangs -- because there is no root FS anymore! I already tried iummu=soft and pcie_aspm=off in the grub defaults: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash iommu=soft pcie_aspm=off" But that does nothing to help. Any other ideas how to wake the sleeping princcess?

  Next year, #macos will stop supporting #rosetta, which is the x86 compatibility layer. There was an effort 5 years ago to reverse engineer Rosetta 2: https://ffri.github.io/ProjectChampollion/part1/ However this seems to have stopped. It's a shame Apple doesn't open source this project, as it could be useful for a lot of other projects. JIT translation of x86 to ARM is just very useful for a lot of emulation projects.

  I can't get Generation X to run to conclusion on my Amiga 500 (1MB OCS, ECS Agnus). It always hangs with a red screen a short while after the "press RMB for secret music disk" part. Since that thing uses weird MFM encoding for the disk, it might be the diskette? Or the disk drive? Has anyone run this demo successfully from diskette? @chainq maybe?
