I'm literally not surprised at this news...United women's team has had, zero investment this summer, sold off the top players, and of course Ratcliffe has already said in not so many words that 'he couldn't give a fuck about the women's team'...so, Skinner leaving right about now was inevitable, plus he is a stubborn fucking coach and probably should've gone in 2024 but got them into the WUCL so, got a reprieve and 2nd bite of the cherry. https://www.bbc.com/sport/foo...

I am missing running and as much as walking is good, its not the same and I missed physio yesterday, because I was writing, and apart from one walk and one gym session I've been the most sedentary I've been in almost 3 years. definitely lost my mojo :(

I need to do some physio, core and isometric exercises...I really feel lazy, having skipped doing it for the last few days because of the heatwave. My right knee is stiff as a board, but no longer in constant pain, so I have to start doing some movement. I can predict that the next 30 to 45 minutes is going to be a fairly unpleasant experience, as though the temperature is less the humidity is more.

so, my knee is soft tissue damage, PFPS, and now I have a knee support which I am really inpressed with I might add... it is not for use during running (though i can wear it walking) as it's too restrictive However, a longish walk has to wait until Friday...and a run...maybe (and the word MAYBE was stressed to me) another week after that 😭 At least I have a timeline,it is all dependent on wearing the support, doing the exercises (even though its real hot) and listeniing to my knee #Runn...

Though I need #running for my mental health, what I don't need at the moment is running in the current heatwave At 5am this morning the temperature which hit a high of 42°c yesterday only fell back to 33°c overnight - by 5am this morning, it was simply unpleasant with the 80% humidity. Also, I've twanged something in the Medial area of my right knee - I think this is a result of carrying myself wrongly when I hurt my foot, and now I'm getting pain, because I'm not doing that g...

Afternoon 🌞 Totally new route this morning Had to use Organic Maps (on the fly) to plot my way through the trail part. Left at 0528Hrs Temp 26c Humidity 77% and a pleasinig stiff wind 15K 10k of which was done on roads 5K trail run - though to call the trail bit a run is generous, it was climbing, scrambling, sliding hiking and running...and it was so much fun. Morning my lovelies. Out for my rehab run, and it was actually really nice. Whisper it quietly but the heel cushion in my V-treks actually worked very well. It did feel a little odd at first, but after a couple of Km&#39;s I found myself running more comfortably. Much more running today, and I even went down onto the tiny sandy beach its not long, but did 5 laps - back and forth, jumping over the waves, &amp; laughing, it was a fun run. #Running #InjuryRehab #BarefootRunning #VibranFive...
