  Worth mentioning that duckduckgo exposes a free llm service, and it claims to "not track you". I'm not particularly inclined to trust that, but I don't have to, because duckduckgo lets you use its services through Tor without pestering you with captchas. You do with this information what you will.

  #forgeposting time :D Finished a new hardy today, that was a few after-work sessions spread out over the past few weeks.   Being smart or dumb is largely a choice. Sure, not everyone has the same innate aptitude in all aspects of reasoning.   In understand the principle behind "JS everywhere". We're stuck with it for client-side scripts so might as well use it everywhere so we only have one language to learn. Another take which I find infinitely more valid is that JS is a bad language with bad features and in order to mitigate its harm we should *only* use it where we are stuck with it, and use basically anything else in all other situations.

  Sometimes in software development you gotta cut your losses and let go of a really elegant algorithm that you're super proud of in favour of a much simpler one that *might* not scale as well hypothetically, but in practice does the job in a much more maintainable way. There is strength in humility.

  For frozen chicken wings, I know the box says to put them on a tin with aluminum foil, but screw that. Put them right on the oven rack, and turn on the top and bottom coils at 450F. No need for convection. No need to turn them over halfway through. Trust me.
