I had an MRI to check on my MS progression today so I’d already taken the day off work. Somehow this is triggering me to actually cry as part of grieving. Wild. Being a human being in a human body who loves other human beings in human bodies is very, very hard sometimes.

I just found out my local cheesecake dealer closed her doors in December. I have no more of her amazing tiny cheesecakes in my freezer. It was a great five years and I’m gonna miss her.

Because of personal medical stuff, vacation, bereavement and general… life, I’ve been off work more than usual these past few months and I do not miss it at all. I have colleagues who say they miss work when they’re away for a while, but if I never had to return I’d be thrilled. It makes me wonder, is it this job or would I feel this way in any job?
