Not to be too smug about it but no, not all of us, right? Because I&amp;#39;m on #Mastodon I didn&amp;#39;t get auto-playing videos of Kirk&amp;#39;s shooting brought to me by an algorithm which decided it was &amp;quot;popular&amp;quot;.

    I truly enjoyed “A Song for a New Day” by Sarah Pinsker (@sarahpinsker), more than anything else I&amp;#39;ve read for a long time. The setup might *sound* a little clichéd—a future in which live concerts are outlawed—but it&amp;#39;s anything but that. I would call it a rock-and-roll “Station Eleven” or a musical take on “Fahrenheit 451”—maybe an upbeat echo of Ling Ma’s “Severance” but any of those would be too trite.
