  Just checked out meshcore again after a bit more than a year. They "fixed" the one main thing that I predicted will be closely coupled to adoption. There now is an easily accessible "main public channel" chatroom feature - the thing in meshtastic that delivered that feeling of instant success and cb-radio vibe. At the same time the robustness of the protocol still is there. In other words: There is no reason to keep bothering with meshtastic or suggesting it to newcomers.

I never knew that noritake, maker of the plates I use daily, was connected the famous washlet maker toto, whose products I also have in my home.
