I love having ssh keys in 1Password, until I want to push or pull from a repo and it's ssh agent doesn't prompt for my auth. Then I'm stuck as if I've no repo access at all.

Got a UV activated wristband. It goes from white to purple. A great way to show the kids it's sunny enough for sun cream.

I saw a package published from work by Kraken tech (I think) which gave more control over database transactions. Has anybody else seen this? I'd love to find a link to the repo again. I was going to share it and now can't recall the name πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ #django #djangoconeu2026

I really like Sentry Seer. I really don't like its new pricing of $40 per month per active repository contributor.

It's about a decade since I used to do the elite timing at the London Marathon finish. Back then it would usually be Eliud Kipchoge coming first around 2:03-2:04 I'm a bit out of touch these days, but there was always the talk of "will anyone ever break the 2 hour marathon". Todays race was won in 1:59:30 by Sabastian Sawe. That's rapid! #londonmarathon

Maybe the only thing I miss about twitter is the local connection to information. Recently I saw takeaway curry delivered in proper insulated boxes. I was impressed. We rarely order takeaway, but I'd order from there based on thay level of detail in their delivery. And with the way that local network of people worked, I'd have found out what business is was.

It feels like years since the django roadmap session where declarative β€œSettings Objects” were brought up. I said I'd take a look into that, naively thinking life would allow me some time. But here we are. I may finally have thought enough about it for a forum post πŸ€” #django

The @djangocms involvement in @djangonaut has been fantastic & we wanted to keep offering mentorship to people after they've been through the program. The first person to be involved has written a little bit about the past few months. https://www.django-cms.org/en/blog/2025/06/24/my-journey-as-a-django-cms-djangonaut-intern/
