Maybe the only thing I miss about twitter is the local connection to information. Recently I saw takeaway curry delivered in proper insulated boxes. I was impressed. We rarely order takeaway, but I'd order from there based on thay level of detail in their delivery. And with the way that local network of people worked, I'd have found out what business is was.
