  Returning Brittany ➡️ UK (all rail). Heartburn from lack of veggie food aside (= butter, cheese & white bread) it has been ❤️. Trains in France delightful. No oversold tickets, comfortable, punctual and so the vibe is calm & content Everyone was super nice. Surely we can do this in the UK?

  Getting to the point where my hayfever is near debilitating. This is the first year I’ve had to take two pills a day, or to take them at all to help with sleeping (otherwise too bunged up to breathe well). I wouldn’t mind so much but the new “feels like someone is squeezing my brain” thing blows

  TIL that WebKit has an optimisation for PDF export where vertical (top to bottom, 180º) CSS linear gradient is rendered as a 1px wide vertical image and tiled in the resulting PDF. This… produces exceedingly awful results. OMG B A N D I N G. That seems like a very dumb/old “optimisation”. 🏳️‍🌈

  Getting incredibly sick of Claude Code failing to use worktrees properly. Why even include the option in the UI if it can’t reliably do it? Seems to have got worse at it recently to be honest. With a vibe-coded desktop app… who could have imagined. 🤦‍♂️

  This is amazing, but seemingly not new: 1. I screenshot my contact card on iPhone 2. AirDrop it to my Mac 3. Finder shows the file “Jason Rudolph.heic”. I once knew a Jason Rudolph, but it’s not me, and he’s not mentioned in my card / screenshot. So… WTAF? (iOS 26.5.2 -> macOS Tahoe 26.5.2).

  Claude is hilariously terrible (in a not fun way) at making sure it works on a new branch/worktree. So often it will indicate it is but then does everything to main, or a pre-existing branch on the worktree. More loss of confidence. Numberwang Intelligence, who knew. 🤷‍♂️
