There is no room for any there there. You give them all the air in the room or they will make it some kind of thing. Even if they weren't invited into that room. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GNq8v73eWU Exhausting and a waste of years that go nowhere.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEDAzvXOS9A Lord, I've lived this more than once. And yeah, if the situation hit me repeatedly below the belt, I don't really need to hold onto the people who choose to play the middle. Even if the ex is more exciting. It just turns into apologetics about all the ways I got hurt. And being told why I actually deserved it and reasons I should feel sorry for them. if chasing the excitement is the preference, you do you. I'll take low k...

Oh you guys, I'm having a ridiculous stress moment. My car is in the body shop because someone crunched the back door at the beginning of June and the insurance folks finally cleared the situation for repair and a rental. And thank god for that, because I gotta keep up with the job and stuff in the meantime. But like, I hate not having my car. I use my car for recreational driving. And the moment it belongs to someone else I get all cautious and utilitarian about driving.

I have a grump. So the insurance company decided Monday that the crunched door repair costs more than my car is worth. And yeah, it's an 11 year old car, but the mechanics still work great. So I asked the shop to replace a tire that has a tear and refill the freon because the heat right now is absurd and I'd like the air conditioner to work at max capacity. However, I suspect because my car was deemed not valuable the shop considers me a low priority.

#introduction step four What mental health means to me. Mental health became a major topic in my life when I was seven years old and the police put my dad in a psych ward because they found him in a trainyard and thought he was about to off himself And even then, my understanding of the topic was limited. My dad definitely went through a long series of mental health crises, but he was blatantly struggling to function And I find it rare that media captures how therapy is supposed to function

Well hi there! Apologies for the quiet and absent bit. In the process of learning six new complicated things at the same time and a whole digital documentation system. A little overwhelmed by all the moving pieces as a complete new guy, but very glad I ended up where I am and feel solid about the environment. I'll circle back around once I figure out how to even budget my time, but it's a whole thing.

Apologies for another dump and dash, but I'm having a busy mind insomniac sorta evening and just figured out my angle on the next process I need to get in place. Still digging out of the weeds from a bunch of CEs with a side task of updating a few early ones. The next obstacle is treatment plans which I haven't done before. The biggest struggle is trying to establish long term goals when you're first getting to know someone and they can't yet fully name what th...

I think my biggest challenge right now is what to prioritize and how to pace myself. All this new information, lots of big projects, and I started off in the weeds. Kinda gotta grind my way through a number of things, not sure which task to take on, and not enough time in the day. Learned right quick that a deadline focus meant burn out because all the things. But like, where to start and what to prioritize.

Well hey there. Starting to get into the groove with the new job, but my days are definitely more full and unpredictable now. This is my first foray back into staying up on current events, which is definitely a must. Can't predict timing or frequency as of yet, but we'll get there. Mostly, hello all you lovely folx. The cultural crisis continues. Feels good to be doing work on the ground, tho.

I suspect it's capitalism that makes people think that growth automatically means commercial hype. Capitalism is an extraction system. Natural growth means the whole community ecosystem flourishes. Commercial hype is just selling something. Meaningful interconnections is something else entirely.

Something I've noticed about myself from lived experience. If someone I know has a long history of telling whatever story makes them feel okay about themselves today, I just stop listening to the spin spin spin. It's not grounded in consistent behavior anyway.
