NSW is considering minimum standards for things like insulation, efficient hot water etc - this is very good but it won&#39;t happen on its own. People need to make submissions and there is help available on doing just that - https://www.sydneyalliance.org.au/mmees-consultation Relevant to renters obviously but also landlords and everyone in NSW who cares about this stuff.

I am seeing a lot of momentum building at grassroots level, especially in the western suburbs where some massive campuses (campi?) are proposed. (Also a lot in and around Sydney) There is also this event coming up soon with people from Trades Hall, 350 Aus and community members in Perth who fought off a datacentre. https://act.350.org.au/events/community-meeting-artificial-intelligence-data-centres-jobs
