  In the culture there are geniuses whose genius is measured in ability to predict enemy moves. That would normally be done by ai. The author depicts ais manipulating humans and other ais, for defense. The scale is different.

  Anyone who reviews this and can even imagine that the re-election of Donald Trump would not be a national disaster of the first order is either an outright fascist, a crazed devotee of the most cultic elements of contemporary evangelical Protestant Christianity/integralist Catholicism/Likudnik Judaism, a plutocrat whose only earthly concern is wealth accumulation, or a hopeless moron who is trapped in a hermetically sealed misinformation bubble.   Whether self gov is gov or not. No gov is gov by wealth (or gov taking wealth, same thing). Ie monarchy/ aristocracy. Libert is circular. I’m not self gov’ing if there is a gov, even if it’s democratic. Burke and bagehot knew aristocracy was hard to defend, they found democracy unreliable (appropriate for American s?). Our Self gov is Gov in the interest of everyone.

  We elect fascists, some of us.A lot of us. The fundamental fascist premise that immigrants are taking over is universally popular.So in that sense democracy is no guard against fascism. But if you can keep it, which it asks of you, per Franklin. To which we were rededicated,after Lincoln, by civil war amendments (briefly resuscitated by black and now lost again). Reagan anti federalism which predates anti civil rights he was beneficiary of (viz Tx) is cons effort to take it away that began w/it.

To be clear, I believe that voting is a very small part of fighting fascism. But it is still one of the tools. If the system isn’t compromised, it adds great value. Bc Hitler cld win plebiscite s after ending elections? I mean what are you saying? The opposite of fascism is democracy. It’s not economics or religion it’s politics.

  I think I am responsible to/for everyone. Everyone is not-selfish, not partial (which is both the affect and its object, Propinquity). The selfish is fear of death and world is illusion (for everyone) greed vs fortune/luck. Money is power, as Americans believe, and power created by self not taken from anyone (yet it must be power over others?) is self and effect of luck (genetic lottery)?

  Bw has to explain why recovery of Greeks who didn’t have idea of guilt but also allowed slavery is preferable to liberal opposition to luck? Greeks expected slaves to rebel and shirk. No universalism ( a non Athenian can be a slave, a slave cannot be an Athenian) is no monotheism is no guilt (nietzche on Adam vs Prometheus). Boethius is not Greek. Kant is anti monotheistic therefore Chinese?

  We believe in a moral obligation to make money beyond any need bc doing so grows the economy and makes everyone richer. EA. Morality is replaced by economics. Everyone is rich and agentic, so there can’t be conflict btn my ends and another. Everyone is not rich.
