The ability to boost the ram and storage was nice, but I felt the limitations of that GPU and CPU every day.   Man the vergecast putting the 3rd gen Apple Watch as the "best" version of the product is so bad. The 3rd gen was the thickest model they ever shipped, battery life was abysmal, and it famously couldn't be updated to the final versions of watchOS without wiping the device.
