RE: https://hachyderm.io/@samhenrigold/116216357692725093 The first Mac I bought was a B&W G3 tower in 2007. That's all I had money for. I loved that machine- still have it in my attic. The ability to boost the ram and storage was nice, but I felt the limitations of that GPU and CPU every day. I was always a few models behind and that taught me what tweaks to make and what to prioritize. I wouldn't trade those experiences for a brand new machine in 2007. It taught me to appreciate the system and learn, just like Sam. A beautiful piece of writing.
