  Some good options here. One thing I noticed when I started eliminating services was how little I missed them, and how robust the alternatives are. Many services will have migration paths. What bothers me is when they throw in so much anachronistic elements into a world over 1000 years in the future. We still have high school style gyms and roller board luggage we need to sit on to close... in the future? It's a little too familiar a place sometimes. One service I found seemed to come with a monetary cost and also allowed someone else to be your identity broker. Which makes sense in the web of trust sense, but not what I was going for.
