After learning that he was from Long Beach, CA and reading in an interview with Ray Bradbury also lived there, I asked my boss if they were related. They were second cousins, and had met some while earlier. (My boss also shared a birthday with James Lick.)

Today I went to #NoKings protests in downtown San Jose and in Sunnyvale along El Camino Real, which appropriately enough for this event means the royal road. I saw a lot of people, and talked with a few. The variety I saw gives me hope. As people drove by, many shared their support by honking, waving, showing signs and flags. Today, nine days later, they sent a message confirming that my personal data has been deleted. Today on LinkedIn I received another solicitation from a recruiter with Insight Global, this time for a job title that I hadn&#39;t had since starting my career and starting college. I&#39;m eagerly looking for work, but this job was not just inequitable, presenting me with it was insulting and a waste of my time. I block contacts from Insight Global without replying to them. If I could block everyone associated with Insight Global, I would.
