  Got a #Nvidia #RTX5060Ti egpu to be able to run some local #AI inference from my laptop. Yeah, Intel's Lunar Lake NPU support is crap. Turns out getting it to work on Linux is a pain, got it working (well nvidia-smi anyway) in the terminal but immediatly when logging in to #Wayland everything crashes and reboots. No error messages. On the latest 595 driver. Oh well, no surprise really. Better wait for the next nvidia driver update. Things don't change 😅

  I used to hate rain 🌧️ Then I moved to #Spain and every rain shower now is a refreshing turn of events that happens every 2-3 months.

  All success to the "W" platform done by the Swedes. I hope it works out and their target audience finds it. It does not solve my concerns nor meet my needs, as it is highly centrally controlled by a single company and not self hosted. So will not be joining. But, this is exactly the kind of initiatives we need in EU to improve the software industry in general and bring out more EU alternatives out there.

  Jackson's FAIL_ON_UNKNOWN_PROPERTIES feature gets me every time. I never remember to turn it off for production systems. Why this is on by default amazes me. Why would you want to stop de-serialization if there's an extra property the entity does not use. It makes forward compatibility a pain to manage especially with messaging systems where message content grows and you don't want to go over every service to add a property. Could we please turn this feature off by...

  This is what I enjoy most about living in #Málaga. The nature is so close to you you can at any time go up to the mountains for a picnic and enjoy the fresh mountain air in good company.

  @yle_bot Pretty gullible to think that this is over... Especially considering the war crimes US has already done, Israels attempts in Lebanon and the Iranians 10 point proposal. I am sure Present Stubb wants to shuffle this under the rug as quickly as possible taking his connection with Trump. But I am afraid it is a bit too late for that now... after Trump threatens genocide the US is no longer credible on the world stage.

  #US is about to start a blockade of Strait of Hormuz, essentially doing the same as #Iran is doing. However US is now operating outside of its hemisphere on foreign soil/sea. That is against all international law. I wonder how the #EU leaders will fold themselves this time to justify the price hikes for the EU countries and their population while supporting the US and Israel? Just like #Spain, the EU leaders should distance themselves from this war or it will be felt in the next election.

Silti taiteilijan nimessä on tehty "feikki" näyttely joka kopioi kaikki hänen taideteoksensa ja tämä on kaikkien mielestä ihan ok? Eikö tämä ole röyhkeää plagiointia? Entä tuotto, sekin jää "feikki" näyttelyn tekijälle? Aikamoista jopa Turkulaisilta.

  The #AI hype is just a logic continuum in the long line of quick money grabs and over-hype by SF VCs and big tech to keep US afloat.   I for one am glad the time period is over when it was socially awkward to say you aren't on #Facebook or #Instagram. I can still remember the confused looks on people's faces, some even thinking something must be wrong with me for not actively posting photos on those services. These days most understand and nod approvingly, but sadly it took 15 years to get here. Now #AI (by the same tech giants) is taking us there all over again. I hope people are wiser this time.
