  omg so I gave my kids a choice for dinner. Either get pizza delivery or I could make tofu. They made the vomit face for "greasy pizza" and wanted tofu couscous and an olive bar / sampler 😂 😂 ☠️ It was work. I was trying to avoid it. But glad my pre teens can make better decisions than me

  Ugh. My 10yo boy who's autistic is struggling in math. He wants to do highschool math next year. And usually tests well. But he's freaking out right now and almost in tears I tell him to just take a break. He doesn't need to prove anything to me. I think we'll just cuddle, make him take a bath, and maybe do some reading.

My curriculums are mostly secular, but I do think religion is important to better understand sociology and culture. Having an elementary understanding of someones faith gives a bit of insight on how they think. I don't think this is always bad. But the one rule I will not compromise, is *religion needs to stay out of a science classroom*

  $250 USD for a bridal shower sounds normal. But the bride should also understand if her friends are struggling financially, and offer to pay for their dresses and care or any expense. It's a good test to see if your friends will cover anyone struggling.   I think the :fediverse: Fediverse :fediverse: is the first place I've genuinely interacted with trans people. I've been crappy at misgendering at times and saying "brother" when I shouldnt. But regardless the trans people have been far more patient and kind than expected. Far more class than a lot of rich people I have to work with.

  So when I was studying for my undergrad I dated a black woman who was amazing. We didnt work out, but our breakup was clean honest and don't have anything bad to say about her. Its been years since we spoke. But checked in with her randomly, found her # and sent a message letting her know I hope she was well, dealing with all the bullshit, and am there for platonic help. She quickly responded (!) and said that she misses me and hopes for the same.
