  I read a few commentaries of each episode of #StrangeNewWorlds and check out the hashtag here on Fridays. Gotta say, the gulf between expert reviews and fan reviews feels like it’s never been larger - regular watchers are delighted with the stories while professionals are nearing hate watch territory with some saying they may quit Trek all together if the show keeps up like this. It’s kind of a weird phenomenon - with echoes of the politician/grassroots activist divide #StarTrek

  I just fit the Grinch quilted coat and it wraps around me twice! I cut it so ridiculously big because I was afraid it would end up too small and I just screwed myself the opposite way I guess I’m going to recut it, but that also means I have to recut the lining and this whole project is 😭 #Quilting

  Sometimes I design a quilt because I want to make it; sometimes I design a quilt because the idea won’t leave me be unless I put it down on paper. It’s usually 50/50 whether those end up sewn For the latter ones, I’ll shop my stash/check online just because I enjoy fabric shopping itself, see if anything bumps the idea up to ‘must make’ For the idea on the left I found the fabric on the right - on sale! - and now the quilt I’m calling Deck the Nazis is at the top of my to-do list 😂 #Quilting
