  HELL YES. My upgrade to Delta One (business class) cleared at check-in, ya boy is laying FLAT on his way to Barcelona tomorrow. I was really sweatin' it there, last I checked there were only two seats available in that cabin. Something something Jupiter in Leo something.

  The first half of this trip was supposed to be with my friend Charles from PS for his birthday but he had to cancel last minute due to a work emergency. So I kept the dates for myself. Once I arrived: “Huh, wonder what I’m *actually* going to do in PV for the next 5 days by myself” turned into “oh, hello OTHER Palm Springs friend who just arrived for his own birthday weekend!” Dinner was had, plans at Studs later were made, now for a shower and brief reprieve before going out.

  Omg my poor brain. I am literally one hour ahead of Pacific Time. But my computer and calendar on it is still in PT, which has been helpful for scheduling calls, but I don’t even know what time it actually is for ET people right now

  I’ve been developing a work pet peeve: encountering more and more people in discipline leadership (e.g. creative director, exec producer, strat director) who are TERRIBLE about managing their cals. They let invites pile up until the night before or morning of and only then RSVP, they are increasingly difficult to get responses from in DMs or mentions, and they just feel overworked and aloof. This is not helpful. We’ve been trying to revamp meeting cadences but it’s a two way street…

  I was making a concerted effort to not buy anything new for pride this year but then I saw the FAG cap styled like the CAT logo (Caterpillar tractors) that Cain Culto wore in the KFC Santería video and… well… I caved.   Ok extended family dinner gathering happened tonight and holy shit I am going to have a lot to say about this at some point but I definitely know who my chosen members of my actual family tree are and also I have a second cousin who lives five blocks from me in Seattle and who is gay and hottttttttt with a hottttttt fiancé and now I’m not the cutest one and I… don’t know what to do with this information. 🙃 (And to be clear, no, I have not had sex with him)
