App Store app: hey cutie you have a couple 3 apps that need updating
Me: [opens App Store to update, pulls to refresh updates screen]
App Store app: OMG you neglectful deadbeat, you have 3,756 apps to update why haven’t you updated them?!?
[yes, I disabled automatically install updates because I don’t trust Apple to protect my local app data and neither should you]

@ibwatson@mstdn.party Even if you have automatic updates enabled you can pull to refresh and get apps from 2-3 days ago that didn’t update. (I’m sure there’s a gradual rollout going on there and the relative date is from when the app version was published, but it’s still not a great experience.) But hey, those vague bug fixes and performance improvements!
