The first half of this trip was supposed to be with my friend Charles from PS for his birthday but he had to cancel last minute due to a work emergency. So I kept the dates for myself. Once I arrived: “Huh, wonder what I’m *actually* going to do in PV for the next 5 days by myself” turned into “oh, hello OTHER Palm Springs friend who just arrived for his own birthday weekend!” Dinner was had, plans at Studs later were made, now for a shower and brief reprieve before going out.
