  I opened the C128D to check for water traces. Luckily they're very minimal, probably just a few drops and not from the vents above. This won't save me from a complete disassemble of this monster to check the situation under the boards, but at least there is a good chance the damage will be limited. And, as you can see from the dirt, it needs TLC.

  SNES, NES gameboy and gamegear carts done. All opened up, cleaned (they were clean enough already though, even those that had rain falling on them), batteries removed, contacts cleaned with rubber and then deoxidized to protect them. They probably work better than before, to be honest.

  Fever gone for now. Brought old cat back to the vet for a post operation checkup and now back in business. I'm routing a new version of the MiSCUSI. This uses the 53C80 and replaces the 74LS133 with ICs that are more readily available. I also moved a few things around for a better clearance. Let's hope I did not fuck it up.

  The 2nd hand shop where I found the commodore also had a small selection of speakers. I got these ones, all 8 ohm. Could come in handy for a future build of some kind. The small ones are particularly pretty I think. I'll wire one up to the Tauntingboard to test.

  I've been looking at this https://github.com/frozen-signal/Apple_IIe_MMU_IOU/blob/master/Schematics/IOU_2.jpg for a good 10 minutes now. There's a '/R W' signal and an 'R /W' signal. It's not a typo. Going from one to the other is trivial, of course, but it seems they forgot to put this NOT gate on the schematic. Which makes me worried they might have forgotten something else. Sigh.
