Interesting.
First of all, this AtariST seems to have had no water ingress.
Second, WTF is that floating RAM expansion?

@hkz@social.chinwag.org Looks like two additional megabytes (16 pcs. 1 Mbit DRAMs), but that might require disabling one of the 512kB banks on the board assuming this is a 1040STF.
