  Since I'm in the EU, I don't have the new AI stuff on Google everyone is talking about and saying is broken lately, but I have heard of a trick that will disable AI on the result page, and it's putting &udm=14 at the end of a google search URL.   I'm happy to say that @StopKillingGames is against the age verification laws that are passing in various locations recently! Games like Urban Dead are shutting down because they cannot comply with such laws, like the Online Safety Act, and this makes preservation projects harder to do legally, while requiring collection of personal sensitive data just to access something that shouldn't know your real identity. A while ago I got a piano keyboard with backlit keys to try and learn to play some songs without worrying about learning musical notation, but the thing is, it only came in with a few preinstalled songs and no way to add new ones. There is an app for it, but it only lights the keys right when you're supposed to hit them, which kinda defeats the purpose of lighting them up, right?   I wonder if, on Mastodon or other social media, it wouldn't be better, for quoted post, to have the person quoting the post to appear below the quoted post instead of above. Currently, you start by reading someone's opinion on something you haven't read yet, and maybe it would help a bit against confirmation bias if you read the actual post they quote first so you can make your own opinion about it!

  I just found a security breach that can leak thousands of emails on a website!! Today, I snooped around on a website I won't mention the name of for privacy reasons, and they assign your account an user ID when you register. Well, with a very simple trick in the console I managed to get everyone else's email and account info (for example checking if they have a paid plan or not) by just lowering the user id, with no rate-limit on the endpoint!   If you have a website, you can add a dark mode to it with this single #CSS rule : html{ color-scheme: light dark } It will automatically adapt all background elements which don't have a background color already specified in the CSS, as well as the text color, to match the theme of the device!
