Why telling an indie dev to &quot;make a different/better game&quot; as a business advice meets with such strong resistance, sometimes even animosity? Do y&#39;all really just want to make ONE SPECIFIC GAME and nothing else? I understand that it might be disrespectful of someone&#39;s effort when put in the way I did it in the first sentence... But this is by far the BEST way for us indie devs to get visibility (and sales). Some games just look more interesting and shareworthy...

It kinda sucks that every guide and all the tips on being good or effective at something always say that consistency is key when you are mentally ill and can&#39;t commit to doing anything every day or week.
