I gotta say, as a longtime #Castlevania fan I&#39;m not finding myself enjoying the various Netflix series very much they&#39;re...okay? but so different and so far removed from what Castlevania *is*, that they basically feel like vampire-themed fanfics that merely reuse characters from the Castlevania series

TIL: CD jewel cases are made of polystyrene plastic. that&#39;s resin code #6 in the recycling symbol. unfortunately, this means they are generally not recycled. Polystyrene is usually seen as either a hard, brittle plastic (e.g. CD jewel cases and many plastic cups and dishes and cutlery), or foam, commonly called &quot;styrofoam&quot; (which is actually a trademark name, but one that&#39;s basically genericized at this point). #recycling #plastics #PlasticsRecycling

hot take(?): i am not a fan of #Pokémon &#39;s Z-moves, Dynamax/Gigantamax, Terastallization, mega evolutions, etc. something feels annoyingly gimmicky about them and they don&#39;t really feel like they fit within (what i had imagined of) the world of pokémon (I think) I understand why they did this, from an extratextual perspective, because it&#39;s really not sustainable to let the series feature-creep but this allows them to have specific mechanics for each generation that don&...
