hot take(?): i am not a fan of #Pokémon 's Z-moves, Dynamax/Gigantamax, Terastallization, mega evolutions, etc. something feels annoyingly gimmicky about them and they don't really feel like they fit within (what i had imagined of) the world of pokémon (I think) I understand why they did this, from an extratextual perspective, because it's really not sustainable to let the series feature-creep but this allows them to have specific mechanics for each generation that don't recur elsewhere but still
